The story follows Momolu® a gentle, unassuming panda who has a knack of stumbling into situations requiring his help. Momolu’s friends each experience their own set of everyday problems which are solved through creative thinking and collaboration; Banni the rabbit helps redecorate the harbour with her sketchbook, Huhu the owl wants to build a slide that everyone can enjoy and Hiko the badger gets to the bottom of a water mystery and ends up diverting a river!

Meet
The Founder

Momolu® is an original, design-led character brand from Finland, founded in 2013 by Leena Fredriksson.

Leena Fredriksson is a Finnish artist, designer, trend specialist and art educator. She’s worked in design for over 20 years. The world of Momolu has been inspired by Leena’s childhood summers spent in the unique Finnish archipelago, and by travels to Southern Europe and to Asia, especially Japan. As a designer, Leena’s passion is to combine design learning with storytelling.
